Acer palmatum Coonara Pygmy (Japanese maple) is grown for its rounded habitat, but also its lime green foliage which is tinged with pink in Spring and Summer time. Autumn time is when this Japanese Maple really stands out with the foliage turning wonderful shades of orange. It is recommended to plant in a sheltered spot from cold winds and with partial shade.
