Acer palmatum dissectum Atropurpureum (Japanese Maple) is a slow-growing tree or shrub forming a compact dome of deeply cut yellow Spring leaves. Its size makes it suitable for a small gardens or for growing in a large container. One of the most popular Acer varieties primarily for its autumn colour, when the foliage turns back to a striking yellow.
