CERCIDIPHYLLUM japonicum, commonly known as the Japanese Judas tree or Katsura tree
is a deciduous large shrub or small tree with attractive spring and autumn foliage - and a burnt sugar / candyfloss scent in autumn months. The plant forms a short trunk with large heart-shaped leaves which turn a beautiful orangey-pink. Rarely exceeds 1.5m in height.
