The Citrus sinensis, or Sweet Orange, forms compact evergreen trees that often reach 40 feet in height. The leaves are elliptical to oblong-ovate, up to 4 inches long, with narrowly-winged petioles. Sweet oranges originally come from China and S.E. Asia where they have been cultivated for centuries. They are the most important citrus fruit in cultivation today.
These plants are tolerant to the cold, but it is wise to overwinter indoors or protect plants during periods of extreme cold. They grow best in a free draining soil and prefer full sun, with regular feeding necessary to produce a healthy tree
This is a multi stemmed plant and is 60-80cm in height. It is supplied in a 5 Litre pot.
