This stunning Italian clipped and shaped Elaeagnus Pungens Maculata Aurea (Oleaster) ½ Standard, with a 40-50cm diameter looks equally stunning in a pot or in the ground. The Elaeagnus Pungens Maculata Aurea is a dense, rounded to spreading evergreen plant. It produces variegated leaves, with white fragrant flowers in autumn. This product is supplied in a 25 Litre Pot.

Standards are measured by the clear stem, overall height and the diameter of the head of the plant. A full size standard would have a clear stem of 180cm or more, half standards have 80-100cm clear stems. Standards are commonly used to decorate outside doors and to divide areas in the garden.

Trim new growth with sharp shears regularly to maintain shape of plant. Once monthly is normally sufficient. It is important the growth is kept under control and the plant is not allowed to grow out of shape. If this does happen, trim little & regularly to restore.
