Ligustrum ovalifolium is a very hardy semi-evergreen hedge which retains its foliage better than other Privet varieties. The Oval leafed Privet is an upright, bushy shrub with oval, green, glossy leaves and white flowers in the summer. It has small, black, spherical fruits in autumn. Plant in any soil as long as it is free-draining in sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 3m and a spread of 3m after 10-20 years.
